BioBog- Raising Awareness of Biodiversity in the Bog of Allen

Girley Bog Restoration Project
In 2014, the Irish Peatland Conservation Council purchased Girley Bog, which is a raised bog in Co. Meath. Since then, restoration works have been undertaken in order to raise the water table and preserve the unique peatland ecosystem.
